I realized I never shared my story.

I grew up in Sarajevo in the 1990s.

Times were tough.

My dad lost his life in war in the 90’s.

Mom worked two jobs to feed us.

I watched her work so hard every day.

I knew I had to help somehow.

In high school, I was shy and kept to myself.

But one thing I did have was a knack for drawing.

I was in architecture school, and to make some extra money,

I started selling my project drawings to classmates.

That was my first taste of business, and it lit a spark in me.

I realized I could earn money on my own terms, and that idea stuck with me.

After school, I tried to start my archery school.

It failed.

Then I tried to be a designer.

That failed too.

Next, I tried selling stuff online. Another failure.

I had to work at a call center.

It was boring.

I tried making money with Bitcoin.

For a while, it worked.

Then the market crashed.

I lost everything.

For four years, I felt stuck in my job.

Then I found LinkedIn.

At first, it was just another platform.

But I saw it could be more.

I started sharing my ideas there.

It was hard. I made mistakes.

But I kept going.

I realized many people had the same problems.

They wanted to share their ideas too.

But they didn't know how.

That's when I had a big idea.
